Well, I recently wrote an article on why should you get married to a Structural Engineer. I think they are amazing individuals (my girlfriend is a one.) Well, but I came across some articles on why you shouldn’t get married to an engineer. While I spend a perfect life with my engineering girlfriend, you may have had a bad experience of being with a one. Yes, nobody is perfect in this world. People have shared their thoughts, and they may have a point. You can always correct the mistakes. And that’s why I thought of writing this article today so you can make the decision about Structural Engineers.
1) Gadgets and technological devices are their best friends
Well, that’s what the articles say about them. While I don’t agree with them 100%, they may have a point. As I said above, my girlfriend spends some time on her laptop every day, but she isn’t addicted to it, and it’s not her best friend either. She does some work at home related to her job, but she hates people who think the smartphone is a must. She is not much into Social Media as well. She loves to spend time with me.
2) They think and behave like robots
Again, I don’t say it. It was there in some negative articles I came across about Structural Engineers. Again, I can’t agree with it. They are not romantic, the articles said. I fell in love with my girlfriend on the first day she talked to me. I mean, she was very romantic. I came across this article on qualities a lady should have Well, I am glad to say: my girlfriend has all the qualities explained in the article. I feel lucky so. She is a Structural Engineer.
3) They are bad cooks
It doesn’t make any sense at all. Well, they say, engineering students only eat instant foods such as noodles and sardines. Many people do it in today’s world. Anyway, that doesn’t mean that they are bad cooks. My girlfriend is the opposite. She cares about her health and mine too. We never bring instant food to our home including ready-made burgers, wraps, and so on. She is an expert dessert maker. Sorry again so. I can’t agree with what they say about Structural Engineers.
4) They can’t wake up early
Well, the funniest this is this – I came across it in an article written by a writer who claims he is an engineer. “We have a different time zone,” that’s what he says. Sorry, friend. I can’t agree with you about it. Maybe you wake up late at 10 am or 11 am, but the engineers don’t. My girlfriend wakes up at 7 am every day. She is a Structural Engineer, and she leaves for work at 8.30 am, then start her work at 9 am in one of the leading engineering company in our city. So, I have no idea of what the heck he was explaining in his article.
Some final words
Well, I didn’t write this article to harm anyone’s opinions. But I am happy with the life living with my girlfriend, but people may have different experiences. By the way, next month I am getting married to her.
